The North Carolina Deer Cam is located in Union County near Charlotte, NC in a large wooded area adjacent the back of the property.  The camera is normally on 24-hours a day with occasional interruptions for maintenance, updates and to put out feed. Please come back often and enjoy the animals!

It is my intent to improve this stream over time. I plan on improving video quality and reliability.  I also want to add the ability for viewers to donate if they choose, to help defray the cost of animal feed and better equipment.

🔹 ANIMAL APPEARENCE TIMES:

🦌 WHITE-TAILED DEER show at random times throughout the day. I’ve seen them at dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, evening, dusk and at night. Perhaps the best times are dusk and dawn.

🐰 EASTERN COTTONTAILED RABBITS show late night and early morning and usually disappear at dawn.

🐼 RACCOONS usually come out once the sun sets and can be seen at any time throughout the night. They normally disappear at dawn.

🐿 GRAY SQUIRRELS are around dawn to dusk. They raid the corn supplies all day long. By dusk they are gone for the evening.

🐢 EASTERN BOX TURTLES sometimes show up at dawn. I’ve spied them eating strawberries that are sometime put up for the deer. Keep an eye out for moving rocks! These little guys have a high, dome-like shell that’s brownish or black.

🐦CARDINALS come during the day to drink water, feed on the bird seed and sometimes attack the camera. You will also likely see MORNING DOVES and CROWS. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Birds, Bobcats, Coyotes, Deer, Foxes, Porcupine, Possums, Rabbits, Raccoons, Skunks, Snakes, Turkey, Turtles and more.
